Video To Photo Converter allows you to capture images from the most common video formats: AVI, WMV, MPG, MPEG, ASF, VCD, and DAT –any other video format may require extra video decoders. The process for capturing images is very simple; you just have to browse your computer and open the desired video file. After the video file has been loaded, a preview window will appear automatically allowing you to play the video before starting the conversion process, this is not really necessary though. The entire video will be converted to images by default, but you have the option to select a portion of the video to be captured, setting the starting and ending times. The images will be captured according to the sampling interval –1 frame is set by default, but you can modify this parameter and some others in the "Output options" window. The image output formats supported are: BMP, JPG, PNG, and TIF. The resolution of the images to be captured is set to 720x400 pixels, but you can customize the size or select one from the list. For the resize mode you can preserve the aspect ratio or stretch the image. You can set the image quality of JPG images only.
